Downloading borders for Microsoft Word 2007 is easy. All you need is an image for the border and "Bob's your Uncle". Once you get bored with Words' old borders, download some new and crazy ones to use.
Downloading new borders is not a difficult task. These include a different variety of borders which are not included as default in Word 2007. You can easily add new borders for word documents of your choice.
Once you've found a Picture Gallery that has a wide variety of images, you can use them with delight. Remember to use image files for borders, for example, any files with the extension of .jpg .gif .bmp .jpeg, et.

Once you've downloaded some borders, you'll see that the borders will be treated as Pictures. You can insert these borders as normal pictures and NOT by using the Borders and Shading dialog box. |
To Download borders, follow these steps:
| 1. | Go to Google |
| 2. | In the Search box, type Page Borders and click Images. |
| 3. | Click the image you like, then click the View Image button in Google. |
| 4. | With the image fully previewed, right-click on the image and choose "Save Image As". |
| 5. | Select the location Pictures in your Library folder for the file to be saved in, and click Save. |

Now you can insert the border image on you Word 2007
document by using the Insert Ribbon tab > Picture
command. After inserting the picture on your document, choose Format Ribbon tab > Text Wrapping > Behind Text. This will allow you to type freely over the background image. |
